About the Event

Amanda and Phillipe, with the help of Kate and Kev, are hosting a delicious seafood lunch to raise funds for the Mater Chicks in Pink. 

Chef Kev will create a delicious lunch in the theme of his popluar "Bait to Plate" series that he creates at his Airlie Beach Restaurant Fish D'Vine. The lunch will be interactive and relaxed with some lessons in preparing local and not so common dishes with seafood from the beautiful Whitsundays. 

We will have some champagne to share but please bring your own wine or beers to contribute.

The Mater Chicks in Pink support women recently diagnosed with breast cancer. 

Did you know 20 428 women in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year? Sadly, that number continues to rise.

But we CAN make a  difference.

Funds raised from this event will go directly to Chicks in Pink where they will be used to:

  • Help provide psychological support to women at the time of receiving their breast cancer diagnosis.
  • Help restore a woman’s confidence and healing after breast removal surgery by providing her with a mastectomy bra.
  • Help a woman feel more like herself after chemotherapy-induced hair loss by providing her with a wig or scarf to wear.
  • Help fund breast cancer research that focuses on improving survival rates, working toward a future where ALL women diagnosed with breast cancer survive.
